After much whining on Axl's part and a few concessions to placate those who still wouldn't mind seeing Lumine end up dead for all the trouble he'd caused, the younger new-gen had finally been released. Sort of. His copy ability was disabled, as were armor and weapons. There was a bracelet-like tracking device on one wrist. And he was considered to be in Axl's custody for now. When Axl wasn't available to watch him, Lumine would be locked up again.

That Top had more freedom right now said something for how little Lumine was trusted. But Axl figures that, after all that had happened, that's something that's going to take a lot of time. And Lumine would probably consider them fools if they did trust him. Trust wasn't exactly something his younger brother was good at.

At least it was something. And one of the first things Axl had suggested was a trip into the Nexus to get away from some of the remaining hostility at home. He'd stayed back when Lumine briefly found someone to talk to, far enough to where he hadn't overheard the conversation... but he has the feeling it didn't go all that well.
